Mary E. Gilstrap
Mary Gilstrap has been practicing business litigation for 20 years. She has represented both public and private entity clients in a variety of business-related disputes, from pre-litigation dispute resolution through trial and post-trial appeals. She also has significant experience with contested probate matters, including wills, trusts and contested conservatorships.
Ms. Gilstrap practices in both state and federal courts and has broad appellate experience including the authoring of appellate writs and briefs. Ms. Gilstrap has also acted as outside counsel supervising litigation for two international publicly traded companies evaluating the performance of a variety of outside law firms, as well as advising as to the viability and economic impact of litigation settlement.
Ms. Gilstrap has an undergraduate degree in newspaper journalism from California State University at Long Beach, and worked for the Los Angeles Times prior to attending law school at the University of Minnesota.
Ms. Gilstrap is on the Board of Trustees for the Desert Bar Association and is a founding member of the Inland County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Ms. Gilstrap enjoys reading, horses and anthropology, including Native American history and culture.
