Helene P.Dreyer Koch has been practicing law in California since 1992. Ms. Dreyer Koch is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in California, as well as the United States Supreme Court. She became associated with Roemer & Harnik LLP in 2001.
Ms. Dreyer Koch’s practice focuses upon the creation of Wills & Trusts, careful Estate Planning, ongoing Trust Administration, and Probate proceedings. Ms. Dreyer Koch also devotes a significant portion of her practice to Civil Trial work and Civil Appeals. Her business litigation experience includes all stages of pretrial, trial, and appellate work, with a focus upon written advocacy.
Ms. Dreyer Koch was born and raised in Michigan. She earned her degrees from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor (B.A. 1987) and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law (J.D. 1992). After moving to California, she was an associate with a valley law firm (1992-1998), practicing civil litigation, family law, and public agency and municipal law. Prior to joining Roemer & Harnik LLP, she was a solo practitioner with an emphasis in written argument and family law (1998-2001).
Helene P.Dreyer Koch is a member of American Mensa, Ltd.; the Desert Bar Association; and the planned giving committee of the Boys & Girls Club of the Coachella Valley. She is a past member of The Richard I. Roemer-Warren E. Slaughter American Inn of Court (1999-2001, 2005-2007 and 2009-2010); and the Planned Giving Committee of the Desert Aids Project. She is a former instructor of real property law and family law with Chapman University (Palm Desert Campus); and previously served periodically as Administrative Hearing Officer for Sunline Transit Authority.
Ms. Dreyer Koch resides in the Coachella Valley with her husband, Kevin C. Koch (MAJ, MIARNG, Ret.), daughter, Gina, and son, Kevin. |
